33 Variations

    33 Variations takes place in 2014 New York, Bonn and Vienna, as well as 1820 Austria. It also takes place during the year in the life of the modern characters, so these characters needed to be grounded in reality and to help show the passage of time.  Beethoven and his contemporaries show the cold and frustrating atmosphere of Beethoven composing his 33 variations. With over 100 costume changes for seven characters, detailed costume plots and a graphic wardrobe plot were necessary for the production.
