Cabaret

Our production of Cabaret was an extrinsic interpretation of the musical, in which everything happens in the Kit Kat Klub and the Emcee interacts with every scene. We took cues from the Broadway revival of Cabaret and used track marks, torn costumes and streaked makeup to show the strung-out nature of the cabaret boys and girls.  The adults in the production were a reflection of 1930s Germany and by the end of the play were either with Hitler on in concentration camp uniforms.
